My wife has been a patron of Panera since before it existed in Washington. I myself have seen it morph from a bread store into what it is now.
Panera is the worst. Who wants to pay $11 for several bites of macaroni & cheese and half a sandwich that has barely any meat? Not me. I used to come here with co-workers bc I love those peeps... but I recently told them, "No need to invite me to lunch if you're going to Panera." Always gross and always expensive.
The results of my drive through order were thoroughly underwhelming and lacking in flavor overall. Bread was nicely toasted, however.
So many low fructose or fructose-free options!
We waited more than a half hour for a salad and a bowl of soup. Not surprisingly, the soup arrived cold and the woman behind the counter gave me attitude when I asked to have it replaced with a bowl of hot soup. This place is really the worst of the chain restaurants in this area.
Fresh and delicious sandwiches, clean establishment. Rather a longer wait than estimated, even though I was only one of three customers and it looked like all hands were on deck behind the counter. Took them about 25 min from time of order to me getting the food, and I had ordered online ahead of time.
I love it when my (technically everybody's) dietary needs can be met at a restaurant!
